I will overwhelm 'credible fighter' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
